Smart appliances have become the future direction of family life today. Many families choose smart homes because of the convenience of being able to control the appliances in them. Whether you are traveling at home, it is still important that the home appliances you use are controlled through an app. With the advent of smart apps, the comfort of living at home can be improved. Corona is the era when people spend more time hanging out. The demand for smart appliances and smart appliance control has also increased.

Problem

The Smart Home App needs to control a lot of smart products. For example, refrigerators, washing machines, floor robots, windows, etc. It also needs to classify the user's usage scenarios according to their habits and working hours. How to use the app for faster and easier operation is a question. Many of the family members are elderly people. Older people are not as receptive to using APPs as younger people. It is also a question of how to make the operating system of the APP simple and easy to understand.

Research

The following feedback was received in the form of a questionnaire: more than 30% of users under 25 years old have smart home appliances at home. Users between the ages of 26 and 35 are more receptive to smart home appliance apps, while those over 35 consider smart home appliances to be in their early stages. 45+ users want smart home appliances to be practical. All users surveyed liked the Smart Appliance App for remote control of cooking in advance the most.

Function

The Smart Home App controls smart appliances via your mobile phone. Usage scenarios are living at home, leaving home, sleeping, and waking up. Family members can all be controlled via their mobile phones. For example, setting the temperature of the air conditioner, the refrigerator, the floor sweeper mode, and the washing machine. The research shows that children and young people are more receptive to APPs. The above groups are easier to operate using the APP. However, the elderly are more cumbersome to control when using due to the high number of household appliances. Therefore, it is important to improve the icons. This makes it easier for the elderly to use the APP when they are not mobile. Of course, you can add as many smart appliances as you like to the APP. The green logo can be used to make the user more relaxed about using electronic products. The rice cooker can be operated by the user's mobile phone on the way home from work. Users can eat immediately after returning home to save time on cooking.
